Most of this week was working on XDefiant or just not gaming, so I used the Switch and Android versions of Minecraft to keep my streak going. Still just jumping into a public server and unlocking an achievement is the name of the game.

It turns out Sunday and Monday was still a rough time in XDefiant in trying to get my final MVP I needed for the achievement. I kept getting so close but just not quite getting there. Well, HAHA, I got it in the SECOND match of the day on Tuesday after work! I am THE BEST! Just in time, too, as I was nearing the end of my character level grind, and a short four hours later of playing I had hit Level 50! That end bit was so much more enjoyable, as I didn’t have to play so aggressively and could play whatever faction I wanted. I switched to DedSec so I could troll people, obviously. Man, that was a mighty pain, and I sure hope they never add achievements…

After doing the Daily Tidy in A Little to the Left sporadically for a while now, I finally managed to unlock the achievement for completing 100 Daily Tidys! I haven’t managed to get to much of the actual game, nor the DLC, and now another DLC pack has been added with achievements… I really hope they don’t keep that up for long.

I definitely didn’t plan on returning to Max Payne 3 any time soon, but I felt I was between games, and had really polished my aiming skills, so maybe it was time to sit down and get this done. I’d start with the easiest of what I had left: finish my playthrough of Challenge Mode. For this, you have to clear each level while completing various timed challenges. This is overall pretty easy, since you only have to complete each challenge; there’s no needed score or ranking to get the achievement. And, man, I’m pretty good at this now! I can shootdodge into a room and headshot everyone pretty well! I think I’m gonna legit give this completion a good shot now, and… ugh, I’m still pretty scared of The Shadows Rushed Me.
