With my spouse still in the hospital, and my really not wanting to start another game if I didn’t have to, I continued to use the console streaming feature on my phone to play Nexomon remotely while I visited. I’m still clearing each area as I go, getting all the ‘mons in the area. By killing all the ones I don’t need I gained quite a lot of levels. There are type advantages and disadvantages like Pokémon, but it doesn’t seem to make a huge difference most of the time. Either way, I haven’t even reached the third “leader” and have just reached 60 Nexomon captured. Only 250 to go! I’m…still not sure I’m really enjoying it. It doesn’t have the same personality Pokemon does, but it does kinda scratch that itch.

That’d be silly!
Looks like Human Fall Flat got more content this week, along with the usual additional achievements. One of my nights at the hospital, I figured I could give the (tenuous) data connection a break and play this on Game Pass over the hospital’s very fast Wifi. This time, the weird humanoid “humans” have to make their way through a red desert location. As always, this is pretty easy, with the main effort being put into unlocking all the achievements. There’s no stage-wide achievement this time, and the various miscellaneous ones were very easy to get. When the hardest achievement is placing a hat on a cactus, you can assume this is cake.

Now, I’m only human, so twice this past week I had to take a break, pass on the 2.5 hour drive, and stay home. On these nights I got to play some more Anthem. I think I’m making good progress, working on the various weapon challenges while completing the side-quests and main storyline missions. But, with only two days to play and other things to do, I didn’t get a whole lot of time with this one.

This is a weird case, as I don’t totally remember my very short time with Race with Ryan on Friday evening. In fact, I only started it to save my streak while I was out trying to relax. I was getting pretty inebriated, but even Drunk Fire Hawk knows the streak must continue. Thank goodness for Xbox cloud gaming! I’m pretty sure this is a very generic Mario Kart-style racer, and considering the branding I doubt that’s a leap. And, luckily, it’s very short. I’ll have to knock this one out soon. Sober. Probably.
