Achievements Earned In:
Every morning this week was the same routine: wake up, violate the toilet, and get an achievement in Make It Rain: The Love of Money. It was always open next to my bed accumulating money so that when I wake up I could just buy whatever I needed for the next achievement. I even managed to get the first swipe achievement. My goal is to get them all legit without using a script, and I'm pretty sure I'm close to the final 100k swipes unlock. This was a cute little game, and reminds me I need to work on my Windows 8 & 10 games more.

Early in the week I decided (when I had time to actually sit and play) that Anthem would be my next “long” game. My biggest worry is for EA to pull a… well, an EA and shut the servers down without notice. I don't HAVE to play online, but why not do missions in groups? Heck, I'm surprised how often people jump into my team, making it pretty easy to fly through any missions I'm on. Looking at the achievements, it just seems slightly time-consuming, but nothing difficult. And I'm really enjoying the gameplay so far. Sadly, I didn't get to play much.

My spouse is sadly still in the hospital. Just like the last time we were here, their public WiFi is crazy good, but has issues letting me stream from my console over it. Unlike last time, she is located on the other end of the building, allowing me to access the 5G cellular network outside, so, to avoid starting yet another game after diving 20 in the Bean Dive, I worked on Nexomon. As I'd pointed out in the entry in which I started this game, this is a very blatant Pokémon rip-off. For the achievements, you have to beat every gym lea- er, overseer and capture every Nexomon. To facilitate this and level up plenty, I entered each zone and immediately set about trying to catch all the creatures in the area. There's usually a few of each rarity and it honestly didn't take long typically. But, it DID take long enough that often I was out leveling the Nexomon in the area. This made it difficulty to weaken them enough to capture successfully. This really bit me when a global legendary showed up and I accidentally killed it! Ugh, I'll be so mad if I have too much issue locating Luhava again later. As for everything else, the story is ridiculously sophomoric and just drives the need to go to the next area and catch more Nexomon. Ending the week, I was in the third zone and heading to the second Overseer. Hopefully the progress continues at this pace!
